Bobby Allen, Co-PI of the Carolina Digital Humanities Initiative (CDHI) and John McGowan, Director of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities (IAH) will host an informal conversation on valuing and evaluating digital humanities practice on Tuesday, October 2, from 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the University Room at Hyde Hall for all College department chairs for whom this topic might be relevant and all faculty in their departments involved in digital humanities activities and/or promotion and tenure (P&T) policy revision efforts.

A number of resources relating to the evaluation of academic digital humanities activities have been collected on the CDHI website.  The site also contains a (growing) sampling of digital humanities projects, arranged by disciplinary focus, including projects undertaken by our colleagues at UNC-Chapel Hill.
