This semester, the Research Hub at the UNC Library, in partnership with the Carolina Digital Humanities Initiative and the Digital Innovation Lab, will host a series of workshops on data visualization. Join us to learn the information and the skills you need.

Digital Map Making – CartoDB/ArcGIS Online

In anticipation of GIS Day on November 19, this workshop will highlight two user-friendly online mapping tools: CartoDB, a web mapping tool; and ArcGIS Online, a web mapping tool and an online component of ArcGIS. Learn how to control the look of your maps, search for and incorporate data, and embed maps into websites.
